My Memories Suite Give Away and Review !!

When my son was little, I had very high ambitions to make a baby book for him that was really unique. I started a scrap book for him and got to work right away while I was pregnant with him. After he was born, I worked on a few pages at a time, but found myself lacking the time and energy to keep up on it. Fast forward 6 years later and his baby book scrap book still hasn't been caught up to date sadly (someday it will be).

I saw a few pages a friend of mine created using digital scrap booking software and loved them! However, my attempts to find decent software that was user friendly, versatile, and didn't cost an arm and a leg seemed to be non existent.  Until now! I am very excited to have an opportunity to use and review the My Memories Suite software.

I am in LOVE with this software! First and foremost, it is very easy to use. When you first start, you have a choice to use the templates that are already provided for you, or start completely from scratch. To add pictures to any layout, you just drag and drop them in. It's that simple. It's also very easy to manipulate photos by cropping or adding a mat or shadow to them. You can also easily add embellishments and create word art easily for your projects. Because it's so easy to use, it makes creating a scrap book page a breeze. In a matter of a few minutes I created something that would have taken me at least an hour (if not more) off and on in between various household tasks.

Below is a few of the pages that I've created using My Memories Suite software.

Scrap book pages aren't the only thing you can create. You can add video or music to your digital album to create a unique photo DVD for your family or to watch on your MP3 player. You can also use My Memories Suite to create journal pages or cards, blog/website banners, gift tags, cake toppers, etc. The possibilities are endless really.

I really like this software because you don't have to be computer savvy to use it. The My Memories software comes with loads of papers and embellishments preloaded. They also offer a wide variety of kits and templates on their website for less than it would cost you to get supplies and tools at the craft store. And because the software uses .jpg and .png formats, you can use the digital scrapbook kits you might already have. You can also create your own to use in programs like Photoshop or Paint Shop. You can also print everything you created at home on your printer, or you can have them professionally printed and bound in a hardcover book.

They also offer a wide variety of tutorials and inspiration on their blog as well.
