Necklace for Charity

My sister works in a law firm and is constantly asked to participate in charity events in one form or another. Last month she was asked to help out with an up coming event in October. She made mention that she needed to find items for their silent auction to raise money and that the theme for the items was going to be accessories. Like a good big sister I helped her brain storm some ideas. After a few days she came back and asked if I would be able to help her out and create something for the event. I said "What the heck, why not" (I really do have a hard time saying no).

The event planned for October is a Go Red for Women event. In 2004, The American Heart Association created the Go Red for Women campaign to raise awareness of heart disease in women.

I am not much of a jewelry designer in any form. But occasionally I get the itch to want to create a piece of jewelry. So I jumped at the chance and came up with this. It's sterling silver and has Swarovski crystals.
