I thought I would take a quick break from spring cleaning to wish everyone a happy Ostara. And to share a photo of our early morning guest.
Our little Starling friend found its way into the dryer vent from outside. After being freed from the dryer vent, and a quick jaunt around our bathroom checking things out, it settled onto one of the linen shelves where it buried it's head into the fold of one of the blankets.
You can almost see the tail near the top of the shelf. The kiddo had gotten a real kick out of seeing a real live wild bird up close and was really excited to see it fly off once we got it outside.
It was a nice indoor visit with nature.
