I look at my craft cabinets, my shelf, and crafting space and cringe. It could be so much more organized than it actually is. My cabinets are part way there. I have a few shelves that need attention, but for the most part they are organized. My shelf on the other hand, not so much. As I sit staring at my creative chaos, I realize I have a lot of projects that I want do to and a whole lot more that need finishing. And my stash of craft supplies is just crazy (Not to mention all of mom's stash is up in the attic still).
As usual today I was poking about Craftster (I'm addicted, I can't help it. I love swapping and love seeing what kind of things people come up with) and found 2 threads that are right up my alley. My biggest problem, I'll admit, is holding myself accountable. Mainly when it comes to doing anything for myself, I always end up finding something better to do. But when it comes to crafting or doing anything for anyone else, I'm all over it and get it done in a timely fashion. Not sure why that is though. Oh well. So working on my own accountablity, I am jumping feet first into these 2 threads and I will come out a 1000 times better than when I went in. 50 projects in 2010 will get that long list (I'll admit, my list is about 70 items long so far) of projects finished at the same time De-stash 2010 will take care of a lot of the supplies. My list of 50 projects looks a bit like this. I love when I can take care of 2 birds with 1 stone. And the Dotee swap will take care of more of my stash as well.
So here's to a very productive AND creative 2010!
Happy Crafting!
